ROXY MUSIC TO EMBARK ON HISTORIC 50TH ANNIVERSARY ARENA TOUR

BRYAN FERRY, PHIL MANZANERA, ANDY MACKAY, AND PAUL THOMPSON ANNOUNCE THEIR FIRST TOUR DATES IN 11 YEARS

Roxy Music, one of the most influential and exhilarating music acts in history, will tour for the first time in more than a decade to mark the 50th year since their groundbreaking debut album.

Bryan Ferry, Phil Manzanera, Andy Mackay, and Paul Thompson, together on stage for the first time since their sold-out and critically acclaimed 2011 For Your Pleasure tour, will perform 13 arena shows across North America and the UK, beginning September 7 in Toronto at the Scotiabank Arena.

The tour will spread across the U.S. including stops at such landmark venues as New York’s Madison Square Garden and The Forum in Los Angeles before culminating with a performance at the O2 Arena in London. Tickets for all shows will go on sale Tuesday 29th March – UK O2 pre-sale,Thursday 31st March – UK general on sale. Monday 4th April – USA general on sale.

Since their formation in 1972, Roxy Music achieved immediate and sensational success, and is regarded as one of the most influential bands ever, having left an indelible mark on the respective worlds of music, fashion, and art by merging the three into a singular and astonishing vision, offering a blueprint for generations of musicians. Intense, emotive, and clever, Roxy Music’s eight studio albums invented the art-rock movement; their groundbreaking ability to merge genres and infuse glamour into rock music was showcased in the lyrics and immortalized on the iconic covers of each album.

Roxy Music has continually been praised by successive generations of critics and musicians alike. They were inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2019; with Duran Duran remarking during their induction speech, “Roxy Music influenced the life choices of everyone who came into contact with them.”

2022 marks a year of celebration for Roxy Music. Throughout the year, each of their eight studio albums, all heralded as modern classics, will be reissued as special anniversary editions with a new half-speed cut, revised artwork and a deluxe gloss laminated finish. The first 2 LPs, “Roxy Music” and “For Your Pleasure”, will be released on 1 April 2022, with the remaining albums arriving in paired drops throughout the year.
