AN EVENING OF WORDS AND MUSIC WITH PHIL MANZANERA – NEW DATES
NOW SET FOR CHICAGO, MILWAUKEE AND MINNEAPOLIS ALONG WITH CLEVELAND
(New York, NY) – After a highly-successful west coast run of tour dates in February, Roxy Music guitarist/esteemed record producer/Rock & Roll Hall Of Famer and OBE recipient (Officer Of The Most Excellent Order Of The British Empire) Phil Manzanera will return to the United States for more solo shows in May. In support of his recent memoir and its companion CD (“Revolución To Roxy”), “An Evening Of Words And Music With Roxy Music’s Phil Manzanera” has now been confirmed for:
– Cleveland, OH on May 14th at the Rock & Roll Hall Of Fame (in conversation with Jason Handley, VP, Rock & Roll of Fame) (previously announced)
– Chicago, IL on May 18th at Space (in conversation with Terri Hemmert, DJ at WXRT-FM)
– Milwaukee, WI on May 19th at The Shank (moderator TBA)
– Minneapolis, MN on May 20th at The Quinlan Room In conversation with Mary Lucia
The unique hybrid shows find Manzanera discussing “RevoluciónTo Roxy,” as well as performing. . Of his recent solo shows, The San Jose Mercury News declared, “It was a great night for fans, who enjoyed both the words and music portions of the show…” and Parklife DC avowed “A right proper gentleman, Phil spun yarns that kept us glued to our seats.
